A micro-SaaS is not a smaller enterprise product — it is a different shape entirely. It has to be cheap to run, simple enough that one or two people can support it, and complete enough on day one that a stranger will pay for it without a sales call.
We build that shape deliberately. The first release contains exactly one job done extremely well, plus the machinery that makes it a business: sign-up, billing, entitlements, an admin view for your support inbox, and enough analytics to tell you whether people come back on day seven.
What we consciously leave out of version one is as important. Teams and seat management, SSO, granular permissions, an audit log, a public API — every one of those is a subsystem, and none of them matter until customers ask for them by name. We plan for them architecturally so they are cheap to add later, and then we do not build them.
