Every application we sell started as something we needed ourselves, and none of them grew past the problem that created them. That is a deliberate limit rather than a lack of ambition.
A tool with one job has an honest price. You can look at it, decide in a minute whether it solves your problem, and pay a few dollars a month if it does. There is no tiering, no “contact us for enterprise”, and no feature held back to make a more expensive plan look attractive.
It is also the only way a very small team can promise that software still works in three years. Every feature added is a feature to maintain across operating system updates, dependency changes and platform deprecations. Saying no keeps the promise affordable — so we say no a lot.
